BuzzFeed and Walmart's New Collaboration Will Change the Way You Shop — Business News
I've gone down many a Facebook video rabbit hole, and many of them have to do with recipes. In the last couple years, BuzzFeed's Tasty has changed how we perceive food online. You've seen the videos — the overhead shots of people dumping ingredients into a bowl, mixing things up, putting them in the oven or on the stove, and then there's that seductive up-close end shot of something cutting into the dish. When you have 20 seconds to spare, this is a delicious way to spend your time.
While these videos are normally seen as entertainment and not something you'd actually follow (like, who makes these recipes?), BuzzFeed wants to change that. That's why their new partnership with Walmart makes so much sense.
