Jennifer Garner Sold Girl Scout Cookies in Front of a Grocery Store Like a Regular Mom — Pop Culture
When I hear about a movie star selling Girl Scout cookies, the first thing that comes to mind is Shelley Long as mink-wearing troop leader Phyllis Nefler in Troop Beverly Hills. Nobody believes me when I tell them about that 1989 movie about a Girl Scout troop of hyper-rich Hollywood kids who go "camping" at 5-star hotels and make their own patches in things like "shopping" and "jewelry," and how they're sad underdogs because the other troops keep saying mean things to them like, "That's not what camping is!" and "You can't just buy a bunch of patches."
